There were two friends, a boy and a girl. The girl always wore a ribbon tied around her neck, and when the boy asked her why, she wouldn’t answer. From being children, to teenagers, to adults, he always asked why she wore the ribbon and she refused to tell him. Eventually, the two fell in love and got married. Even after they were married, though, the girl still wouldn’t explain the reasoning behind the ribbon. They grew old together, and the woman became very sick. While lying on her death bed, she whispered to her husband, “I’m going to show you why I wear the ribbon all the time.” She removed the ribbon and her head fell off. The end.
